In 2021 I entered a writing competition run by the Urban Tree Festival. The topic was All about trees, and I decided to write about the wisteria I had bought the year before, that sits in a pot on my patio. In fact it still sits there, years later, as I still love looking at it throughout the seasons.
My piece, titled, The Potted Tree, was shortlisted and ended up being published in the Canopy anthology along with the other shortlisted entries.
